Krishnakumar Kunnath was born on August 23, 1968, in Delhi to Malayali parents. He was raised in New Delhi. Before making it big in Bollywood, he sang 3,500 jingles.

KK attended Kirori Mal College at Delhi University as well as Mount St. Mary’s School in Delhi. To support the Indian national team during the 1999 Cricket World Cup, the song “Josh of India” featured him.

For several days before his passing, he had complained to his wife about pain in his shoulder and arm, believing it to be the result of digestive issues. The autopsy report stated that KK’s heart was 80% blocked. The Calcutta High Court received three public interest litigations (PILs) about the singer’s passing.

Due to his remarks about KK, the Bengali singer has been receiving a lot of backlash from the audience. He had stated, “I realized that we all sing better than KK after listening to his songs.” What’s the big deal? Who is K?
