Badshah was born in Delhi to a Haryana-born father and a Punjab-born mother. He is wed to Jasmine. Jessamy Grace Masih Singh is their daughter (born January 11, 2017).

On November 19, 1985, in New Delhi, Badshah was born. He goes by Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia in real life. He attended Delhi’s Bal Bharti Public School for his education. He went by the stage name “Cool Equal” when he first entered the music business, but later adopted the name Badshah. Additionally, he is well-known for the catchphrase “It’s your boy Badshah,” which is frequently pronounced “Ish yo boy Baad-uh-sh-aa-ah.”

With 74.8 million views in a single day, his 2019 song “Paagal” set a new record for the most-watched video on YouTube ever. The rapper Badshah claimed that the music video for “Pagal Hai” had 75 million views on the first day of its release, breaking the previous records held by Taylor Swift and the Korean boy band BTS.
