WHO IS ALAN WALKER
Alan Olav Walker, a Norwegian music producer and DJ who was born in Britain on August 24, 1997, is best known for the highly praised track “Faded” (2015), which has received platinum certificates in 14 different nations. He has created several YouTube successes in addition to producing songs, including “Sing Me to Sleep,” “Alone,” “Darkside,” and “On My Way.”
As of May 2022, Walker’s channel had 41.9 million subscribers, making it the most subscribed YouTube channel in Norway. As of February 21, 2022, he has around 11.1 billion views, the most of any Norwegian artist. Walker has been hailed as one of the pioneers of electronic dance music by many journalists and fans, although others have accused him of using “ghost producers,” and some fans have expressed discontent with the changes from his usual production style, most notably in his most recent tracks.

CHILDHOOD AND EARLY LIFE
Alan Walker is the son of Norwegian-born Hilde Omdal Walker and Anglo-Scottish-British Philip Alan Walker. He was born on August 24, 1997, in Northampton, England. As a result, he received dual citizenship from both the United Kingdom and Norway thanks to his foreign paternal inheritance.
He has two siblings a younger brother named Andreas, born in Norway and, an elder sister named Camilla, also born in England. He and his family relocated to Bergen when he was two years old. Walker eventually developed an interest in computers, a pastime that pushed him farther into programming for music and graphics. At first, he didn’t have any musical training, but he learned by watching YouTube videos on music creation.

While his father, Philip Alan Walker, is from England, his mother, Hilde Omdal Walker, is from Norway. Because of his parents’ nationalities, Alan, an Englishman by birth and a Norwegian by choice, is qualified for dual citizenship with both nations.
